“Music is the universal language of mankind.” —- Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
When talking about rock music, The Rolling Stones cannot be left out. The band was formed in London in 1962. Since then, and till now, the contribution of this English rock band has been enormous in the music industry. The band was initially formed by Brian Jones, Ian Stewart, Keith Richards, Mick Jagger, Charlie Watts, and Bill Wyman.
The band is best recognized for keeping long hair alike their music and the youthful as well as the rebellious counterculture of the 1960s. In 1964, the band released their debut album ‘The Rolling Stones’ that gained the top ranking in the UK Albums Chart and the Australian Kent Music Report Albums Chart. After the grand success of the album, The Rolling Stones kept on touring and performing in concerts for their fans.
The band has given numerous hit songs, some of which are – “Have you seen your mother, baby, standing in the shadow?”, “Ruby Tuesday”, “Let’s spend the night together”, and others. Being a part of one of the concerts of The Rolling Stones was surely a pleasure. The crowd was all enthralled and eager to see the band perform live. Each and everyone in the concert could not stop dancing as The Rolling Stones performed on their popular songs. The craziness of the fans proved that when it comes to raw rock music, no other band could take their place.
